In case you haven't noticed, I finished the sixth book. Am I happy? No. Not at all. I guess it hasn't sunken in yet...the horrible deed that has been done. For all of those who know what I'm talking about, grieve with me.

I guess it didn't come to me as a big surprise when Snape turned out to be the Half-Blood Prince, or that Dumbledore might die in this book--even though I expected it to be the seventh book at the least.

What DID send me reeling was the fact that SNAPE killed DUMBLEDORE. *resists the urge to stab some more* Even the forewarning in the beginning with Snape's vow to Narcissa had me thinking maybe he's trying to pull one over the bad guys and is still loyal to Dumbledore (as Rowling has a tendency to do) but as the book progressed, it seems blatantly clear that this is not so.

It's been such a roller coaster with Snape...I don't know what to think anymore. And even with his recent acts of murder, I can't help but think there's something deeper behind it than simply him being loyal to Voldemort this whole time...

Why do I feel this way? *sigh* oh well.

Did anyone else see the while Lupin and Tonks thing coming? WHOA. Out of the blue! And so did Harry's sudden feelings for Ginny. I mean, maybe it's obvious that they might end up together, but his attraction to her was rather sudden, I thought.

....I really don't know what to say. Still a bit dazed from the whole thing. I need to lie down.

CF: Well, another year went by and this year's "A Single Spark" Sess/Kag fanfic award winners have been revealed. ^_^

Yume: I had to be honest, I didn't expect to win anything in particular, seeing as I didn't update in well...Forever. *sheepish grin* So I was VERY surprised when I checked out the winners, and realized that my name was up there with the winners. Really, I was SHOCKED.

CONGRATULATIONS! To all of the fabulous winners for this year, ESPECIALLY Resmiranda who raked in an impressive seven awards for her fanfics "Tales from the House of the Moon" and "Fugue." *applause*

CFWhee! "Even Immortals Fall" managed to win first place for best one-shot! And "ForgetMeNot" won this year (again???) in the second place shot for best Romance/Waff and Overall fic.

Yume: But what REALLY shocked my was the fact that "ForgetMeNot" also won third place for best lemon/lime...

I stared at the computer for a long while, laughing hysterically while repeating the words "Why?" over and over again for a good five minutes before calming down. I mean...seriously, the story only had two lemons in the total 34 chapters, and they weren't even good lemons... Which makes me question sometimes what's wrong with all of my readers...

NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING! lol. I'm very grateful to everyone who nominated and voted. It's nice to know people still enjoy my work despite the fact that I'm not an avid updater as I used to be *hangs head in shame*
